The operational steps are as follows:

1. The containers are grasped by the infeed starwheel and conveyed onto the container table. Rotation of the containers begins as they are situated between the container plates and centering bells.

2. The speed of the feed roller is meticulously adjusted to match the required label length, maintaining continuous web tension. A standard threading unit ensures optimal feed of the label material. Within the cutting unit, labels undergo precise cutting facilitated by a combination of PLC commands and servo-motor control, ensuring an exact cut-off point.

3. Two narrow strips of hot melt glue are applied to join the labels together. These adhesive strips, administered by a heated glue roller, are placed on both the leading and trailing edges of the labels. The label with the glue strip on its leading edge is then transferred onto the container, facilitating precise label positioning and a secure bond. As the container rotates during label transfer, the labels are tightly affixed. Ensuring proper adhesion, the trailing edge is also glued.
