Aseptic Cold Filling Machine: Advanced Technology for High-Quality, Contaminant-Free Beverage Production

An Aseptic Cold Filling Machine is an advanced solution designed to fill beverages in a sterile environment, ensuring that the contents remain uncontaminated and fresh without the need for heat pasteurization. Ideal for the food and beverage industry, the Cold Aseptic Filling System is particularly useful for filling sensitive products such as juices, dairy drinks, and other beverages that require long shelf life without compromising quality. The PET Aseptic Cold Filling Machine offers precise filling, maintaining product integrity while ensuring high productivity and low operational costs.

How the Aseptic Cold Filling Machine Works

The Aseptic Cold Filling Machine operates through a series of advanced steps to ensure that both the product and the filling environment remain sterile throughout the process:

  1. Pre-sterilization – Both the bottles (or PET containers) and the filling system are sterilized with hydrogen peroxide or other sterilizing agents to eliminate bacteria and other contaminants.

  2. Cold Filling Process – The cold beverage is transferred into the sterilized container through a high-precision filling system, ensuring no exposure to air and contaminants.

  3. Sealing and Packaging – Once filled, the containers are immediately sealed, preserving the freshness of the product while maintaining sterility.

  4. Post-fill Sterilization (optional) – For extended shelf life, some systems employ post-fill sterilization techniques to ensure absolute product safety.

Bottle sterilization and disinfection system

Sterilization inside the bottle, atomized hydrogen peroxide is heated to 130 ℃ (<60 ℃ when inside the bottle) through a heating device, and then distributed to the bottle dry sterilization system of the filling equipment through a hydrogen peroxide atomization distributor.

The sterilization unit is equipped with an atomized hydrogen peroxide that can automatically lift the distributor's spray rod. The effective length of the spray rod is generally 5mm (when the bottle type is different, the length of the spray rod is also designed according to the bottle type), fully ensuring that all blind spots inside the bottle are covered by high-temperature atomized hydrogen peroxide, thus achieving a complete and effective sterilization effect.
This technology can also set different sterilization and blowing parameters based on the differences in bottle types to ensure effective sterilization, safe residue, and prevention of bottle deformation.

Hot air decomposition system

The products of hydrogen peroxide decomposition are harmless oxygen and water, and the decomposition rate of hydrogen peroxide is extremely slow at room temperature. Heating can quickly increase the decomposition rate of hydrogen peroxide.

Filling System

The infusion system is one of the core components of this unit, and the upper structure of the infusion system is entirely located outside the hundred level room, with only the filling valve port and bottle clamping device inside the hundred level room. This greatly reduces the internal structure of the equipment and maximizes the process environment in the filling area.

Adopting non-contact infusion to avoid repeated contamination.
Adopting innovative dual speed infusion technology. In the infusion link, the common products on the market do not have foam.

Screw cap system

Given that the traditional mechanical gear transmission capping system has weaknesses such as inability to adjust capping speed, impact motion during capping head operation, and difficulty in adjusting capping torque technology.

Servo motors can control speed and position accuracy very accurately, and can convert voltage signals into torque and speed to drive control objects. The rotor speed of a servo motor is controlled by input signals and can react quickly. In automatic control systems, it is used as an actuator and has the characteristics of small electromechanical time constant and high linearity. It can convert the received electrical signal into angular displacement or angular velocity output on the motor shaft.

The capping servo system of the device sets capping parameters based on the beverage production process through the human-machine interface, including capping torque, capping speed, and capping total angle, etc. The screw cap system controlled by servo motor can freely set the parameters of the screw cap servo motor through the human-machine interface when changing production lines.
